Dr. NEEMA BAYRAN, M.D.
Interventional Pain Management | Medical Director
Dr. Bayran is double-board-certified in Anesthesiology and Interventional Pain Management. He completed his residency in Anesthesiology at the University of Illinois at Chicago, where he served as Chief Resident. During that time, Dr. Bayran was granted participation in the research program on developing new medications for pain pathways.
Dr. Bayran completed a formal ACGME accredited Interventional Pain Management fellowship at The University of Illinois at Chicago and was awarded a fellowship in Interventional Pain Management at Cleveland Clinic. This helped broaden his training as a Pain Physician. His main area of interest is Spine Care and Complex Regional Pain Syndrome. Dr. Bayran has been taking care of patients with Spine Disorders for more than 16 years.
He has a particular interest in using innovative technology, including Stem Cell Therapy and PRP. Dr. Bayran uses minimally invasive techniques to address Disc Pathology without the need for incision. These technologies improve the patient’s outcome by minimizing injury to the Paraspinal Muscle. He is also certified by The American Board of Independent Medical Examiners.
Dr. Bayran is a member of the American Academy of Pain Management, International Spine Intervention Society, American Society of Regional Anesthesia, the American Society of Anesthesiology and the American Academy of Aesthetic Medicine.
DR. ADRIENNE MEJIA, MD
PAIN MANAGEMENT PHYSICIAN AND ANESTHESIOLOGIST
Dr. Adrienne Mejia is a board-certified anesthesiologist based in Chicago, Illinois, with a dedicated focus on providing comprehensive anesthesia care and pain management. With a strong foundation in both anesthesiology and pain medicine, Dr. Mejia ensures the safety and comfort of her patients during surgery and other medical procedures, as well as offering effective treatment solutions for those suffering from chronic pain.
Dr. Mejia earned her medical degree from the University of Illinois College of Medicine at Chicago, followed by an intensive residency in Anesthesiology at the prestigious Yale-New Haven Medical Center. With 6 to 10 years of clinical experience, she has developed a reputation for her meticulous approach to patient care and her expertise in managing complex pain conditions, utilizing advanced techniques such as nerve blocks and medication pumps.
As an anesthesiologist, Dr. Mejia is an expert in administering anesthesia to ensure patients are safely unconscious during surgeries, and in managing pain before, during, and after medical procedures. She also specializes in treating chronic pain patients with advanced therapies. Dr. Mejia is certified by the American Board of Anesthesiology and holds an active medical license in Illinois through 2026. Her previous licensure in Connecticut was active through 2022.
JILLIAN YOUNQUIST, N.P.
BOARD CERTIFIED FAMILY NURSE PRACTICIONER
Jillian is a board-certified family nurse practitioner. She earned her bachelor of science in nursing degree at Olivet Nazarene University in 2016. She gained a wide variety of experience and knowledge working in different settings including a rehabilitation center, inpatient cardiology, and oncology.
She earned a chemotherapy certification through the Oncology Nursing Society. After six years of nursing, she then earned her doctorate of nursing practice degree at Southern Illinois University of Edwardsville in 2022.
Jillian is an active member of the American Association of Nurse Practitioners. She has a passion for caring for others and helping to alleviate patients’ pain.
